Shenzhen is a major city in the Guangdong Province in China. It forms part of the Pearl River Delta Megalopolis north of Hong Kong. Shenzhen was made a city in 1979, and the estimated population is around 13 million. Shenzhen was also one of the fastest-growing cities in the world in the 1990s and 2000s.

“The best part about Shenzhen is that it’s inclusive. Both the city and music scene, because there is a saying that ‘来了就是深圳人 You are one of Shenzhenners once you come to Shenzhen.’” – 3ASiC
