The band Amber Smith was formed in 2000 having released 7 albums so far. Apart from Hungarian clubs/festivals, they toured Europe many times, and played Sweden and USA. Their 2006 breakthrough record (”Reprint”) was produced by Cocteau Twins’ legend Robin Guthrie, while the follow-up, 2008’s “Introspective”was mixed by Chris Brown, known for his work with Primal Scream, Muse, Beatles, and the Spice Girls. Their most recent record (”New”) was released in 2017, nominated for yet another Fonogram the following year. Currently they are working on the yet-untitled follow up for a late 2019/ early 2020 release.

“It’s an old Soviet ship transformed into a venue. Really great atmosphere and sound…some of my favourite shows in recent years there are Jane Birkin are Cigarettes After Sex!” – Amber Smith

“It is very special that you have to enter a cool old ship to see a concert. The atmosphere is unique, plus they have the greatest sound all over here. It is said to be among the best club venues in the world. My band had a chance to play there several times, in 2018 we supported Wayne Kramer’s MC50.” – The Trousers
