Orchid Collective

Irish indie rockers Orchid Collective return with their fresh new single ‘FORCES’ October 26th, alongside a tour crossing Ireland, the UK and Germany, bringing their dreamy guitars, soaring melodies, and emotive yet genially raw music to the stage in front of their ever growing fanbase. Having received support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Clash Magazine, Made In Chelsea, and Red Bull, the alternative quartet are returning bigger and better than ever. The four-piece, from each corner of Ireland, are proud to be a DIY indie band based in Dublin. The quartet have been playing together for just over two years, collecting a loyal fanbase nationally. Through their own distinct use of vocal harmonies, ambient soudscapes, and searing layers of reverbed guitars, Orchid Collective makes themselves known as a band that set themselves apart from their contemporaries, offering a bold new imagining of the indie genre.

Whelan’s

“My favorite local bar and drink is Whelan’s. I have great memories so many mental nights of fun and music.” – Paddy Casey

“Whelan’s is a hub for all kinds of creative folk in Dublin. It has an incredibly rich history with artists who have performed and socialised there over the years, everyone from Hozier, Glen Hansard to Ed Sheeran and ourselves of course. There’s a gig on mostly every night of the week and you can probably catch us making fools of ourselves at the silent disco most Wednesday nights.” – Orchid Collective

“Whelan’s is the best venue to see a show – it’s cosy, intimate and has a killer sound system.” – Joe Ballance, Vibe Manager

Wowburger

“We usually don’t discriminate when it comes to hangover food but the best would probably have to be the Wowburger chain. They have many stores all over Dublin but they offer unlimited toppings on any of their burgers which is a major selling point for the hangover cure.” – Orchid Collective

From unsigned independent local acts to the likes of Mumford and Sons and Paolo Nutini have played here. If you’re in Dublin on a Tuesday don’t miss it!” – Orchid Collective
