Ivan & the Parazol
Selling out high profile venues, Ivan & the Parazol’s Main Stage slot at Sziget Festival 2014 foreshadows a rising of a new beat generation. Ivan & The Parazol’s career started in 2010, when they met at a private music school in Budapest. Their groovy rock tunes quickly resulted them a very engaged and rife audience. Since then they released 3 albums, opened for Deep Purple in 2014, played SXSW (two times), and did hundreds of shows around the world. The band represents their exotic, post traumatic version of rock and roll so authentically that their home country, Hungary, treasures them as one of the old classics of the current era.

Központ

“‘Központ’ in Hungarian means the center. It is in the center of the city (Madách square, near Deák square) which is the center of parties and meetings, or you can have just a cup of coffee after a long day. Also, we had a few afterparties there, cause Akvárium club is quite close.” – Ivan & the Parazol

Pontoon

“In the summer, it has a lovely view of the chain bridge, also they have a lot of great bands playing there, just near the leg of the bridge. The last time our drummer held his birthday party at this place, members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers came down, cause they heard the music there, and wanted to check out the place – and also wish happy birthday to our bandmate.” – Ivan & the Parazol
